LIMN, for flute and saxophone, finished.

"Who the Hell is J.K. Randall" appears in The Open Space Magazine, issue 8.

2006

Continued work on new music-drama, "New America" (working title) with writer Rachel Cohen. The first act is currently being scored. Read the short draft of the libretto here.

"Thinking Around BAB-O" appears in The Open Space Magazine, issue 7.

"RAREFACTIONS" appears in Perspectives of New Music, 43/2.

2005

Accoucher, a Dance on Camera collaboration with choreographer Susannah Newman, screened at the New Jersey State Film Festival, November 17-20, 2005, Cape May, NJ, USA.

New theatrical/musical work, in five tableaux, with writer Rachel Cohen.
Rachel and Jon are collaborating on texts written by Rachel and quasi-set to electro-acoustic accompaniments.
Slated for performance in Prague, the text and music cohere toward American settings in fives 'scenarios' focussing on coming of age in the U.S.

Verse from the Aethersphere, for marimbist Nathaniel Bartlett, completed.

New work with Iannis Xenakis UPIC system

New collaborative work with poet Charles Stein "in the works."

Accepted grant to attend 8-month course at CCMIX
(Center for the Composition of Music Iannis Xenakis)
during Fall 2005-Spring 2006.
